About us

Pasoka do Tao is a small paçoca (Brazilian peanut sweet) factory in Bombinhas, Santa Catarina. It's made by Tao and the team, in small batches, freshly roasted and labeled by hand.

How we make it

Machines help, people decide. At every step there's a person running it, adjusting and checking.

  • Small batches. Each recipe makes about 400 paçocas.
  • Roasting run by people. To the point that nose and eye decide.
  • A press designed by Tao. To get the texture he wanted.
  • Big pieces of nuts. In the flavors with nuts, you can see them before you bite.
  • Every batch is tasted before it goes out. And it goes out with a batch number.
  • Packed and labeled by hand. Folded by someone, and each paçoca labeled one by one.

What's inside

Few ingredients. In the classic line: roasted peanuts, brown sugar, peanut butter and sea salt. In the Zero line and Pro+: no added sugar, sweetened with stevia. Besides paçocas, we make paçoca crumbles and peanut butters in the same flavors.
